SAFA LADIES
We are excited to announce the official launch of SAFA Ladies. What started out as Shelly helping a few students on the range, has turned into an entity of its own! The ladies meet once a month at our private gun range in Greenville, Texas. Shelly takes the time to work with beginners while her more experienced shooters work on their advancement in the Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification Program; earning badges as they complete each challenge. And no SAFA Ladies night can end UNTIL Shelly challenges the ladies with fun and exciting drills!

Our Ladies Only Classes are being presented by Shelly Simmons. Our class will be conducted in a fun, friendly, and non-competitive atmosphere. You will learn what you need to know, have fun learning it, and support each other in the process. We will offer personalized instruction. This will include female specific issues such as:
Semi Auto. vs. Revolver: What’s the big difference??
.380, 9mm, or 40 cal… does the size of the bullet REALLY matter??
What do I do with it now?
I need to CARRY it with me at the grocery store??
Why can’t I just throw it in the bottom of my purse??
Where do I hide it on my body and how do I get it to stay there??
Are there ANY other options to stop a threat??
After acquiring my Concealed Handgun License, what’s next??

Shelly Simmons has been married to the same gun nut for almost 19 years. They have two incredible kids, 4 dogs, and a cat. Shelly contributes all her gun knowledge to 2 special people: her darling hubby (a Concealed Handgun License Instructor and NRA Instructor in 7 disciplines) and the best NRA Training Counselor in the U.S. (who will remain anonymous at this time). She is an NRA certified Range Safety Officer and is certified to teach:
